John Hartley is ARC Federation Fellow and research director of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries & Innovation at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane. He is a distinguished professor of QUT, where he was foundation dean of the Creative Industries Faculty.
